Daniel S. Cha
Partner – Assistant Director of Litigation
Daniel Cha serves as Assistant Director of Litigation at Greenberg Gross and is an experienced civil litigator dedicated to representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse. His practice is focused on guiding survivors through every stage of the civil justice process with care, diligence, and a clear commitment to accountability.
Mr. Cha’s advocacy on behalf of survivors began early in his legal career. While in law school, he volunteered with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Hardcore Gang Unit in Compton, California, where he assisted in cases involving violent crime. He also worked with juvenile offenders through the El Centro Legal Clinics at UCLA School of Law, developing an early understanding of the complex personal and systemic issues that often surround abuse and trauma.
Since graduating from law school, Mr. Cha has represented clients in all phases of civil litigation in both state and federal courts, including trial and appellate proceedings. In addition to his work on childhood sexual abuse cases, he has handled matters involving personal injury, employment discrimination and harassment, civil rights, public entities, nursing home abuse, and cases arising under the California Sexually Violent Predator Act. This breadth of experience informs his approach to sexual abuse litigation, particularly in cases involving institutional defendants and overlapping legal frameworks.
Mr. Cha earned his law degree from UCLA School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and served as a research assistant to Professors Richard Abel and Joel Handler. His academic and practical background reflect a consistent commitment to careful legal analysis and effective advocacy on behalf of vulnerable individuals.
